Hello, Natalie!
How do you follow? I saw in the news that are recovering slowly in your country
2010 earthquake and the capital, Port au Prince, still under reconstruction. I am so sorry,
They say that there are still many people missing, thousands homeless and many others without
food, not even water. I can imagine what you're going because my parents speak
much of the strong earthquake that occurred here in Mexico in 1985, as some buildings of
the housing unit where they lived fell and hundreds of houses also collapsed.
In my country there are frequent earthquakes, the strongest are presented on the shores of the ocean
Pacific, in the states of Michoacan, Guerrero and Oaxaca. We have learned to live with that
and more and more plans for local disaster prevention for the population there is
alert and know what to do if one occurs.
Also in some geography lessons, the teacher tells us how we should act
before, during and after an event like that. I am always attentive to what we
They say in the media and not to be unprepared to survive.
I look forward to communicating with you.
Take care.
With love,
Fernanda
