Learn the history of where they live.
Ask your parents, your grandparents and your friends if they have lived
some disaster. Why it occurred? How people contributed
to happen?
Write in your notebook the history of catastrophes or disasters
that they have occurred in the place where you live.
Newspapers, radio, television and the Internet can help
to learn more about disasters and their prevention. The activities
in school may also be useful. Make drawings about
what you learned helps you understand it better and explain
others. Talk to your family, your friends and people you know
on how to reduce risks in your community.
With the information obtained, complete the following poster:
Meet with your family to identify safe places. convince
your parents that the family should have an emergency plan and
